Virgo

As projects move into high gear this month, try to hold it all together. When working on more than one design job at a time, avoid the tendency to become too scattered and leave them undone. You don't want a pile of incomplete projects to camouflage your deadlines causing them to be unmet. Don't leave your work dangling. There's more to this astrological outlook but it'll have to be finished some other time.

Libra

Despite being an easygoing and sociable Libra, a fellow designer's constant personal calls on his cell phone while at work will trigger some heightened agitation this month. Distractions are not conducive to the creative environment you need in order to be at your best. Get the guy's number and the next time he is not using his cell, call him and tell him to stop answering his phone.

Scorpio

You'll need to exercise some patience around the 26th as you experience some computer software glitches that threaten your project deadlines. Don't panic but work closely with your company tech to solve the problem. More patience will be needed as you are grilled with inane questions such as, "Did you try re-booting?" or "Are all your cables plugged in?" Then brace yourself for a barrage of mumbling tech lingo that sounds like passages from a textbook on Chinese calculus.

Sagittarius

Someone might try to steal your thunder around the 19th but being the ambitious Sage that you are, they'd have a much better chance of stealing your umbrella. However, don't get careless. Continue to be aware and alert but not paranoid. This is not identity theft. At the same time, if your hard work puts you in the spotlight, you should not let an envious employee pull the plug.

Capricorn

With the approach of the autumnal season, you are feeling rejuvenated and packed with energy this month. You're ready to take on every challenging project that comes your way, and then some. Aquarius

Don't let persistent thoughts of a career change around the 10th lead to any action. Just stay put. You were meant to be a graphic designer and a very good one. Go ahead and peruse the job classifieds if you must, but you'll see there isn't much out there that's attractive. You should especially ignore any openings in the field of astrology. The hours are long, the money is short and Uranus always seems to be in retrograde.

Pisces

Being a Pisces, you listen well, are receptive to new ideas and are very observant. Those traits are graphic designer-friendly. They help you to communicate and produce concepts that are right on target. However, on the down side, being highly tuned into your surroundings makes you aware of the not-so-endearing habits of co-workers. Try to tune out that designer who finds it necessary when looking for images to scratch 'n search.

Aries

As the first sign in the zodiac, Arians enjoy getting things started. You're usually the first one to arrive for work in the morning. You like to take charge at meetings. Many times, you complete all of your design projects before anyone else on your creative team. You always manage to get the best parking spot. Since you already have the leadership qualities, all you need now are the outdoor skills and you can quit your job to become an Eagle Scout.

Taurus

Don't overly concern yourself with last month's embarrassing design blunder—accidentally submitting the menacing head of a steaming, fierce bull as the logo for a vegetarian nutrition group's online newsletter. You still have your job and will continue to bring home the bacon. Try to beef up your organizational skills because there's definitely a lot at stake. Brighter days are ahead for you later this month as you get down to the meat of challenging projects.

Gemini

Don't let your dual-natured personality cause confusion this month as the pace of projects increases. You seem to be volleying between rushing to the front to take charge on some challenges and retreating to the rear to follow the pack on others. Co-workers are a little befuddled by your inconsistency, not sure which way you'll lean. Maybe you're watching too many politicians, which can cause bewildering behavior and eventually lead to excessive handshaking and kissing babies.

Cancer

It's a wide-open month and the demand for creativity is humming. This is a great time to show off what you have and knock clients on their keisters. Keep dipping into the creative well. Let it churn out your impressive ideas and jaw-dropping concepts. There have been some brilliant and famous Cancerians throughout history and just because none of them immediately come to mind, doesn't mean they don't exist.

Leo

In astronomy, the sun is a star but in astrology, it's your ruling planet. Your career planet is Venus, also known as the Morning Star because it's the brightest in the morning sky. You have two stars working for you hot and heavy this month as you shine among your design peers. None of this should be confused with Circus of the Stars, which was a lame TV show.
